My name is Faith Dafang, founder of CF Braids & Locs. With over 5 years of loc experience and a braiding journey that started when I was just 9 years old, I’ve now had the pleasure of working with more than 300 women across Scotland.
I specialise in creating beautiful, healthy Microlocs, traditional locs and protective braid styles tailored to each woman and her hair. I believe you should never have to choose between a style that looks beautiful and one that protects your natural hair. My work is centred around both.
I continue to invest in learning, refining my techniques and improving my craft so every client receives thoughtful care and results they can feel confident in.

Individual sections of hair are carefully coiled from the root to create neat, defined starter locs. This method works best for coily and tightly textured hair.
Two-Strand Twist Starter Locs
Two sections of hair are twisted together to create fuller starter locs with a softer appearance. This method is ideal for clients who prefer a fuller look from the beginning
Interlock Starter Locs
Interlock Starter Locs are created by interlocking each section of your natural hair from the root.
Instant Locs / Crochet Starter Locs
Instant locs are created using a crochet hook to instantly form mature-looking locs from your natural hair. This method is ideal for clients who want the appearance of mature locs from day one.
Microlocs
Microlocs are small, lightweight locs created using your natural hair. They offer a versatile, low-maintenance hairstyle while allowing you to enjoy the beauty and freedom of locs.
